Hugo Asbach believed in strict quality control, perfection, care, and attention to detail in the production of their brandy. Only the best distillates from top vintages are selected and aged for a minimum of 21 years before being blended together to create a brandy that is unparalleled in quality. The resulting brandy has a mahogany appearance and a complex aroma featuring a blend of spices, wood, caramel, nuts, coffee, chocolate, lime, and a slight floral note. On the palate, it has roasted aromas, clear coffee notes, and a hint of toffee. The finish is noble and very persistent, with comprehensive maturation notes and a coaxing warmth.
