Mélanie Pfister “Breit” Extra Brut, Crémant d’Alsace
Their crémant (a sparkling wine made in the same method as Champagne) is classic Alsatian bubbly produced from 50% Chardonnay with equal parts of Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc. It’s heavily mineral and a touch fierce but ultimately soft, finely layered, perfumed, and supremely refreshing with hints of honeysuckle, quince, tropical fruit, and honey. This bubbly finishes long and classically dry. This is a single-vintage wine without any older reserve wine added. We’re talking top-end Crémant here!
